Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Removal

Front

FRONT

1. Unscrew the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the front wheels See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Removal.

4. Remove the disc brake caliper (4) from the caliper adapter (5) See: Disc Brake Caliper - Removal.
5. Remove the disc brake pads See: Brake Pad/Service and Repair/Brake Pads - Removal.
6. Remove the disc brake caliper adapter bolts (1 from the knuckle.

Rear

REAR

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheels See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Installation.

3. Disconnect the pad sensor (7) from the cable.
4. Remove the disc brake caliper (5).
5. Remove the disc brake pads.
6. Remove the disc brake caliper adapter bolts (4).
