NOTE: Make sure the brake hose is not twisted and ensure freedom of movement.
2. Install the brake hose (2) at the brake caliper (5). Tighten the bolt to 14 Nm (124 in. lbs.).
3. Install the wear indicator (7) to the caliper then install the wear indicator bolt (6). Tighten to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).
4. Bleed the brake system.
5. Check the brake system for any leaks.
6. Install the rear wheels (1) See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Installation.
7. Lower the vehicle.
Rear Brake Caliper - (Dual Rear Wheels) (DRW)
REAR BRAKE CALIPER - (DUAL REAR WHEELS) (DRW)
1. Install the brake caliper (1) to brake caliper adapter. Tighten the guide bolt to 25 Nm (221 in. lbs.) for M8 bolt or 30 Nm (266 in. lbs.) for M10
bolt.
NOTE: Do not install the brake hose twisted and ensure freedom of movement.
2. Install the brake hose at the brake caliper (1). Tighten the bolt to 14 Nm (124 in. lbs.).
3. Install the wear indicator to the caliper. Tighten to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).
4. Bleed the brake system.
5. Check the brake system for any leaks.
6. Install the rear wheels See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Installation.
7. Lower the vehicle.
