Sprinter 3500 V6-3.0L DSL Turbo (2008)
2. Install the pin (6) to secure the reservoir (2) to the master cylinder (9).
3. Install the clutch feed tube (3) (if equipped).
4. Reconnect the electrical connector to the brake fluid level indicator (1).
5. Fill the fluid reservoir (2) with brake fluid.
6. Bleed the brake system.
7. Check the brake system for any leaks.
Master Cylinder - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Using a suction gun remove as much brake fluid from the reservoir (2) as possible.
2. Remove the clutch feed tube (4) (if equipped).
3. Remove the brake fluid level switch electrical connector (1).
4. Remove the brake lines (5) Seal off the ends and bore holes with plugs.
5. Remove the master cylinder mounting nuts (8). Check brake booster for damage due to leaking master cylinder. It is not possible to repair
the master cylinder.
6. Remove the master cylinder (9).
7. Remove the fluid reservoir and grommets (7) (if replacing the master cylinder) See: Fluid Reservoir/Removal.
