Drive Belt: Service and Repair
Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
Removal
Caution: Do not attempt to check belt tension with a belt tension gauge on vehicles equipped with an automatic belt tensioner.
1. Remove radiator fan and shroud.
2. Remove fan drive belt.
3. Using a suitable tool, rotate tensioner assembly (2) counterclockwise until tension has be relieved from accessory drive belt (1).
4. Remove accessory drive belt (1).
