Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
Front Steering Knuckle - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Install the steering knuckle on the lower ball joint stud.
2. Install the lower ball joint nut. Tighten to 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.)
3. Install the lower strut (1) and bolts (2) to the steering knuckle. Tighten the bolts (2) to 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 120° turn.
4. Install the rotor (3) to the hub/bearing.
5. Install the rotor set screw (1). Tighten to 22 Nm (16 in. lbs.).See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Brake Rotor/Disc/Service and

6. Install the wheel speed sensor (1) and nut (2) to the knuckle (3).
