Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair

Removal
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the bolts to the lower spring clamp plate (2).
3. Remove the spring clamp plate (2) and rubber block.
Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Fit the lower spring clamp plate (2) together with the lower spring rubber block.
2. Install the retaining bolts for the spring clamp plate (2). Tighten M8 bolt to 29 Nm (21 ft.lbs.) or Tighten M12 X 1.5 bolt to 106 Nm (78 ft.lbs.)
Plus an additional 90° turn.
3. Remove the jack and lower the vehicle.
Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove the floor pan screws (1) and floor mat (2) to access the upper strut mount.
2. Remove the upper strut mounting bolts (3).
