Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair
Washer Reservoir - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Siphon the washer fluid out from the washer reservoir (2) into a clean container for reuse.
3. Remove the washer fluid level switch from the washer reservoir. See: Sensors and Switches - Wiper and Washer Systems/Washer Fluid Level
Switch/Service and Repair/Removal.
4. If equipped, remove the headlamp washer system pump from the outboard side of the washer reservoir. See: Windshield Washer Pump/Service
and Repair/Removal/Front See: Windshield Washer Pump/Service and Repair/Removal/Headlamp See: Windshield Washer Pump/Service and
Repair/Removal/Rear.
5. Remove the two screws (3) that secure the reservoir to the bracket (1) on the top of the left front fender inner wheel house.
6. Lift the washer reservoir upward far enough to access and remove the standard front and optional rear washer pump/motor units on the inboard

7. Disengage the standard front and optional rear washer supply hoses from the integral routing guides of the washer reservoir.
8. Remove the washer reservoir from the engine compartment.
