Description
Front
FRONT
The front washer nozzles (1) are constructed entirely of molded plastic. The nozzles have integral mounts with snap features that secure them near the
tops of the two wiper arms on the windshield. One side of the washer nozzle has an integral barbed nipple (2) that connects it to the washer supply hose.
Three nozzle orifices (3) are oriented to dispense the washer fluid onto the windshield glass throughout the wiped area of the glass.
The front washer nozzles cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, they must be replaced.
Rear
REAR
The outer surface of the rear washer nozzle retainer is visible on the rearward-facing surface of the rear wiper arm near the wiper blade end of the arm.
The rear washer nozzle is constructed of molded plastic. The rear washer nozzle body (3) is secured by an integral retainer (2) with two integral latch
features and a live hinge to the rear wiper arm.
The two orifices (4) of the nozzle are oriented downward and towards the rear door glass, and their aim can be adjusted by inserting a pin into the orifice
and rotating it to the desired location. The washer plumbing fitting (1) is oriented towards the pivot end of the rear wiper arm and is concealed between
the rear wiper arm and the rear door glass.
The rear washer nozzle cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, it must be replaced.
