Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair
Washer Nozzle - Installation

Front

FRONT

WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury during and following any front wiper system service, be certain that the key is removed from the
ignition lock. When the multi-function switch is set to the I (INTERMITTENT or AUTOMATIC) position, the front wipers could move
unexpectedly at any time causing injury or damage.

CAUTION: Do not open the hood while the front wiper arms are folded away from the windshield. Both the hood and the wiper arms could
become damaged.

1. Position the front washer nozzle (1) above the front wiper arm (3) on the windshield glass.
2. Reconnect the washer hose (2) to the barbed nipple of the front washer nozzle.
3. Using hand pressure, slide the front washer nozzle over the front wiper arm until it snaps into place. Be certain that the nozzle locator feature is

engaged in the locator dimple on the wiper arm.

Rear

REAR

CAUTION: Do not allow the wiper arm to spring back against the glass without the wiper blade in place or the glass may be damaged.

1. Position the rear washer nozzle body (3) to the back of the rear wiper arm (1).
2. Reconnect the rear washer supply hose (5) to the barbed nipple of the nozzle (4).
3. Fold the nozzle retainer over the front of the rear wiper arm and, using hand pressure, squeeze the nozzle and nozzle retainer together firmly and

evenly until both integral latch features (2) are fully engaged on the back of the nozzle body.

4. Reinstall the rear wiper blade onto the rear wiper arm. See: Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Wiper Arms - Installation.
