Removal

REMOVAL

Door Latch - Left Door Inner

1. Remove top/bottom door trim (4, 5).
2. Remove inner latch handle (10).
3. Remove the bolts (9) from rear end door inner lock (6) and press rear end door inner lock (6) into door interior.

NOTE: The door latches can only be removed if the rear end door inner lock (6) has been pressed previously into the door interior.

4. Remove the upper door latch (2) and unhook the upper door latch cable (12).
5. Remove the bottom door latch (8) and unhook the latch cable (13).
6. Pull rear end door inner latch out (6) with the cables.

CAUTION: Carefully guide cables when removing and installing to prevent damaging rattling protection.

7. Unhook the upper door latch cable (12) and lower door lock cable (13).

Door Latch - Left Door Upper

NOTE: Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the upper door latch to aid installation.

1. Remove the bolts (1) and remove the upper latch (2).
2. Disconnect the cable (3) from upper door latch (2).

Door Latch - Left Door Lower
