Sprinter 3500 V6-3.0L DSL Turbo VIN 45 (2007)
1. Install the door latch (3) into the rear end door.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Hook cable (12) from the outer door handle.
4. Place door latch (3) with cables (13) into center of the door and turn counter clockwise.
CAUTION: Carefully guide cable (16) to upper door latch when installing to prevent damaging rattling protection.
5. Route cables (13) to the inside door handle (7).
CAUTION: Carefully guide cables (13) to inside handle (7) when installing to prevent damaging rattling protection.
6. Install the door latch (3) and install the bolts (2).
7. Tighten the bolts (2) to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.).
8. Connect the lock cylinder rod to the lock cylinder (11) and secure the release lever (10).
9. Install the upper door latch (1), Door Latch - Right Door Upper.
10. Install the inside door handle (7).
11. Install the lower door trim (6) and upper door trim (8).
12. Adjust the door latch (2) if necessary.
Door Latch - Right Door Upper
1. Connect the cable (3) to the upper door latch (2).
2. Install the upper door latch (2) and install the bolts (1).
3. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.).
4. Adjust the door latch (2) if necessary.
