1. Disengage the retaining tabs that secure the air intake grille (1) into the rear evaporator trim panel (2) located on the ceiling of the rear

compartment and remove the grille.

2. Disengage the retaining tabs that secure the rear particulate air filter (3) into the rear evaporator trim panel.

NOTE:  To aid in reinstallation, note the installed position of the particulate air filter indicated by the arrow on the side of the filter.

3. Remove the particulate air filter from the rear evaporator trim panel. Note the direction of air flow indicated by the arrow on the filter.

Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE:  The particulate air filter is labeled with an arrow to indicate air flow direction through the filter. Make sure to properly install the particulate air
filter into the fresh air inlet housing. Failure to properly install the particulate air filter will result in the need to replace the filter sooner than required by
design.

1. Install the particulate air filter (3) into the rear evaporator trim panel (2). Insert the particulate air filter directly into the trim panel with the arrow

on the filter pointing toward the top of the vehicle.

2. Engage the retaining tabs that secure the particulate air filter to the rear evaporator trim panel. Make sure the filter is properly positioned and that

the retaining tabs are fully engaged to the filter.

3. Install the air intake grille (1) onto the rear evaporator trim panel. Make sure the retaining tabs are fully engaged to the trim panel.
