Oil Pan: Service and Repair
1.
Remove timing belt, refer to Timing Belt, Service and Repair for procedures.

Remove oil pan and pump in sequence shown, noting the following:
a. Knock oil pan remover tool No. MD998727 in deeply between oil pan and cylinder block.
b. Hitting side of tool, slide and remove oil pan.
3.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
