Turn Signal Does Not Cancel Automatically
NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO JULY 5, 1991 (MDH 07-05-XX).
MODELS:
1991-1992 (B7) STEALTH
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The turn signal does not automatically cancel after making a left turn, although cancellation can be made manually. This may be caused by interference
of the ratchet lever and a bracket within the column left side switch.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This procedure involves installing two shims in the left column switch (turn signal switch).
1.
With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.
Remove the upper and lower steering column covers.
3.
Remove the left side switch from the column switch assembly. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS CONNECTOR.
