Disable airbag as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING before performing the following
operation.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove glove compartment attaching screws, then carefully push sides inward to remove.
3. Remove glove compartment latch attaching screws.
4. Remove four glove compartment outer case attaching screws.
5. Remove four right lower cover attaching screws.
6. Disconnect lower frame electrical connector, then remove lower frame attaching screws.
7. On models equipped with A/C, remove evaporator attaching bolt and nut.
8. On all models, disconnect air selection control wire at blower motor case.
9. Remove side frame attaching screws.

Disconnect blower motor electrical connectors.
11.
Remove blower case attaching nuts, then remove blower motor case.
12.
Remove blower motor attaching bolt, then remove blower motor.
13.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Position air selection control lever as shown.
b. Press air selection damper inward, then connect inner cable of air selection wire to air selection lever, then secure outer cable with clip.
c. Enable airbag as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
