1. Remove the MFI relay.
2. Check for continuity between MFI relay terminals.

2 - 4

Conductive (approx. 70 ohms)

3. Using jumper wires, connect terminal 4 of MFI relay to battery + terminal and terminal 2 of MFI relay to battery - terminal.
4. Check the continuity between relay terminals 1 - 3 while connecting and disconnecting the jumper lead at the battery - terminal.

Continuity across terminals 1 and 3

Connected

Conductive (0 ohms)

Disconnected

Nonconductive

5. Replace the MFI relay if any defect is evident.
