2. Install and seat snap rings into yoke, then using a suitable brass punch and hammer, tap journal and bearings until seated against one snap ring.
3. Using a suitable feeler gauge, measure resulting clearance, standard value dimension (A), between journal bearing cap and snap ring.

4. If standard value dimension is less than or exceeds 0.0008-0.0024 inch, select a new PAIR of snap rings from table to set clearance to standard
value.
