Stratus L4-2.4L DOHC (1995)
Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
1. Remove fan shroud and retaining clip at end of fan motor shaft, then slide fan from shaft. Do not bend or strike fan blades during removal.
2. Disconnect fan motor electrical connectors, then remove fan motor fasteners from motor support.
3. Separate motor from support.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque short fasteners to 25 inch lbs.
b. Torque long fasteners to 45 inch lbs.
c. Torque fan shroud fasteners to 5.5 ft. lbs.
