B)

Install the output gear retaining bolt stirrup, P/N 4567263, with the serrated side facing out (refer to Figure 1).

C)

install the stirrup strap, P/N 4659134, so its holes align with the threaded holes of the output gear. Install the 2 strap retaining bolts, P/N
6503355, and finger tighten.

D)

Turn the stirrup clockwise against the flats of the output gear retaining bolt and hold the stirrup in place while torquing the strap retaining
bolts to 200 in. lbs. (23 Nm).

E)

Bend the tabs of the strap up against the flats of the retaining bolts (refer to Figure 2).

Measure the output gear bolt pocket depth of the replacement transaxle rear cover, P/N 4567566. The depth should be 0.900 in (23 mm) or
greater.

3.

Thoroughly clean the transaxle case and rear cover mating surfaces then apply an 1/8 in. bead of Mopar Silicone Sealant, P/N 4318025, to the
cover as shown in Figure 3. Install the 10 cover retaining bolts and torque to 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm).
