SERVICE PART KIT

Two different types (gold or silver color) of high pressure relief valves were used on the affected vehicles. Both valves will be included in service part
kit MN177247. When replacing the valve, the dealer technician must confirm the color of the valve (Fig. 2) on the vehicle and then select the same
colored valve from the kit.

NOTE:

The two valves are different sizes and cannot be interchanged.

Repair Procedure

1.

Use the refrigerant recovery unit to remove the refrigerant from the system.

NOTE:

Refer to the refrigerant recovery and recycling unit instruction manual for operation of the unit.

2.

Raise the vehicle.
