OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves repairing the dome lamp switch and replacing the blown IOD fuse.
MODELS:
2001 - 2002 ST Sebring/Stratus Coupe

THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES WITHOUT A SUNROOF BUILT PRIOR TO AUGUST 10, 2001 (MDH0810XX)
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some vehicles may experience loss of power to items such as the radio, dome/courtesy light, vanity mirror illumination, remote keyless entry, or
compass/temp display. The dome light may intermittently short circuit causing IOD fuse # 4 (2001 models) or # 18 (2002 models) to become blown (Fig.
1). The dome lamp switch slide terminal may be loose, allowing it to touch an adjacent terminal. The most likely case for the fuse to become blown is -
Dome light switch in "OFF" position and doors Locked or Unlocked with the RKE transmitter.

SERVICE MANUAL.
