2002 model vehicles will only require flash reprogramming. For 2001 models, a running change was made after September 25, 2000 (MDH 0925xx)
that included an interim software upgrade and gradual phase in of a higher heat range spark plug (heat range 10). If the model you are working on has
heat range 10 plugs, there is no need to replace the plugs. The table shown lists the actions for each year.
