DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove clamp and boot from joint and discard.

2. On 1989-90 G.K.N. units, hold housing and lightly compress C/V joint retention spring while bending tabs back with a pair of pliers. Support the
housing as the retention spring pushes it from the tripod.
3. On 1991 G.K.N. units, Clamp interconnecting bar in a vise and hold C/V joint housing on an angle. Gently pull on housing until one of the rollers
is free. Continue to hold housing on an angle and continue to pull on the housing until all roller are free.

4. On A.C.I. units, hold housing and lightly compress C/V joint retention spring while bending tabs back with a pair of pliers. Support the housing
as the retention spring pushes it from the tripod.
