Heater Core: Service and Repair
The heater housing must be removed from the vehicle to service the heater core.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove heater housing from the vehicle. Refer to:"Heater Assembly HVAC : Service and Repair" See: Heating and Air

Insulation Seal
3. Remove the insulation seal from atop heater core.
Bracket Screws
4. Remove heater core retaining screws.
5. Note the position of the heater core. The heater hose tubes are offset and can only be installed in the proper direction.
