Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disengage half turn fasteners holding access panel to inner wheel well behind the headlamp.
2. Separate access panel from vehicle.
3. Remove wing nuts holding headlamp rear cover to back of headlamp.
4. Separate rear cover from vehicle.
5. Disengage wire connector from lamp socket.

Headlamp Low Or High Beam Bulb

6. Rotate socket counterclockwise and pull socket and bulb from back of lamp.

CAUTION:  Do not touch the glass of halogen bulbs with fingers or any possibly oily surface, reduced bulb life will result.

INSTALLATION

1. Push socket and bulb into back of lamp and rotate socket clockwise.
2. Engage wire connector to lamp socket.
3. Position headlamp rear cover to headlamp.
4. Install wing nuts holding headlamp rear cover to back of headlamp.
5. Position access panel to vehicle.
6. Engage half turn fasteners holding access panel to inner wheel well behind the headlamp.
