Stabilizer Link: Description and Operation

Inspect the stabilizer bar attaching links for any of the conditions which are listed below.
-

Inspect the attaching links for any bending of the center section of the link.

Inspect the ball joint seal boots for holes, tears, cracks, and any type of deterioration.

Inspect the ball joints of the attaching links for any visible end play or excessive looseness.

Inspect the ball joints of the attaching links for binding.
If any of the above conditions are found when inspecting the stabilizer bar links, the link will require replacement. DO NOT attempt to repair a 
stabilizer bar attaching link.

Check the attaching link mounting points at the stabilizer bar and lower control arm to be sure the mounting nuts are tight. If required, tighten the
nuts to the specified torque.
