Temperature Warning Lamp/Indicator: Testing and Inspection
To test the temperature warning lamp, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Disconnect the wire from the temperature switch on the engine and
momentarily touch the wire to ground. When the wire is grounded the bulb of the indicator should illuminate. If the bulb fails to illuminate, indications
are of a faulty circuit in the system, or possibly the indicator bulb is faulty Repair or replace as necessary.
