Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the knee blocker right and left sides.
2. Remove headlamp switch knob. Using a stiff wire or a small tool, insert it into the hole at the bottom of the knob. Pushing up with the tool and

gently pull rearward till the lock tab releases the knob.Remove knob. Use care not to break the locking tab.

Center Bezel

3. Remove instrument panel center bezel. Disconnect the cigar lighter, power window switch and rear window defogger switch (if equipped) wire

connectors.

4. Remove the steering column shroud and it may require lowering of the steering column for additional clearance.

Instrument Panel

5. Remove instrument panel bezel.
6. Remove headlamp switch by depressing the locking tabs.
7. Remove switch and disconnect wire connector.
