Viper RT-10 V10-8.0L VIN E (1997)
10. Install the brake caliper attaching bolts and tighten to a torque of 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.).
11. Align the brake hose bracket with the hole in steering knuckle. Install the mounting bolt for the hub/bearing. Tighten the hub/bearing mounting bolt
to a torque of 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
12. Install the wheel and tire. Tighten the wheel mounting stud nuts in proper sequence until all nuts are torqued to half specification. Then repeat the
tightening sequence to the full specified torque of 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.).
13. Lower the vehicle.
14. Install the front and rear Vehicle Height Checking Fixtures, Special Tools 6914 on the front and rear wheel flanges.
15. Correctly measure the vehicles curb height. Refer to Alignment.
16. If the vehicle is at the correct curb height proceed to Step 18. If the vehicle is not at the correct curb height the design height of the vehicle must be
set. Refer to Alignment.
17. Recheck the vehicle to be sure it is at the correct curb height prior to setting the static toe of the front wheels.
18. Check and adjust the vehicle static wheel toe position. Refer to procedure in Alignment for static wheel toe position adjustment.
