4. Tighten screws to 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
5. Measure camshaft end play with a dial indicator (2)See: Procedures. End Play should measure 0.0127 - 0.381 mm (0.005 - 0.015 in.) and 0.381
mm (0.015 in. Max.). If not within limits, install a new thrust plate.
6. Align timing marks (2,3) and dowel pin (1) with a straight edge (4).
7. Install timing chain and camshaft sprocket.
NOTE: Place a block of wood between the crankshaft counter weight and engine block to stop engine from rotating while tighten bolt.
8. Install camshaft phaser/sprocket assembly retaining bolt (1) and tighten to Nm 160 (118 ft. lbs.).
