Viper SRT-10 V10-8.4L (2008)
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel -
Removal.
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the recirculation door actuator (1) located on the right end of the HVAC housing (2).
4. Remove the screws that secure the mode door actuator to the HVAC housing and remove the actuator.
Recirculation Door Actuator - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Position the recirculation door actuator (1) to the right end of the HVAC housing (2). If necessary, rotate the actuator slightly to align the splines
on the actuator output shaft with those in the recirculation door pivot shaft.
2. Install the screws that secure the recirculation door actuator to the HVAC housing. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the wire harness connector to the recirculation door actuator.
4. Install the instrument panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel -
Installation.
5. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
