Description

DESCRIPTION

This A/C system utilizes a variable A/C orifice valve (VOV). The A/C orifice valve is installed in the A/C liquid line and provides a restriction between
the A/C condenser and the A/C evaporator. This restriction establishes the pressure differential between the high and low-pressure sides of the A/C
system. The A/C orifice valve is located in the end of the A/C liquid line that is closest to the A/C condenser.

The A/C orifice valve consists of a nylon mesh inlet filter screen (5), bimetal coil (4), fixed port (3) and variable port (6), fixed and variable orifices (1),
diffuser screen (7) and two O-rings (2) to seal it to the inner wall of the A/C liquid line.
