REAR SECTION
17. Position the rear section of the A/C suction line (6) into the engine compartment.
18. Remove the tape or plugs from the opened suction line fittings and the evaporator and accumulator ports.
19. Lubricate new rubber O-ring seals with clean refrigerant oil and install them onto the suction line fittings. Use only the specified O-ring seals as
they are made of a special material for the R-134a system. Use only refrigerant oil of the type recommended for the A/C compressor in the vehicle.
20. Connect the rear section of the A/C suction line to the A/C accumulator (2).
21. Install the bolt (5) that secures the A/C suction line to the A/C accumulator. Tighten the bolt to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

23. Install the right front wheel See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels - Installation.
24. Lower the vehicle.
25. Connect the A/C suction line (1) to the A/C evaporator (3).
26. Tighten the fitting nut that secures the A/C suction line to the A/C evaporator. Tighten the nut to 13.5 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
27. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
28. Evacuate the refrigerant system See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant System Evacuate.
29. Adjust the refrigerant oil level See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant Oil Level.
