Seals-Axle Shaft
Removal
REMOVAL
1. With vehicle in neutral, position vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove half shaft and axle output shaft.
3. Remove seal (1) with Remover 7794-A (2) and a Slide Hammer C-637.
4. Clean and inspect all parts and sealing surfaces.
Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Install new output shaft seal with Installer C-4026A (1) and Handle C-4171 (2).
2. Install output shaft and half shaft.
3. Fill differential with lubricant to specifications.
