6. Remove the inner shoe and lining from the adaptor, and remove the shoe anti-rattle spring.

Mark shoe position if shoes are to be reinstalled.

CAUTION: If original brake shoes are to be reinstalled, they must be installed in their original positions as marked.
1. Position the anti-rattle spring in the lower shoe abutment of the adaptor.

Be sure that the loop portion of the spring is positioned away from the rotor.
2. Install the lower end of the inboard shoe into the groove provided in the adaptor (against the spring clip).
3. Slide the upper end of the shoe into position.

Be sure the clip remains in position.
