Fuel Filter

REMOVAL

1.

Loosen and remove the clamps from the filter hoses and remove the fuel filter.  Discard old filter.  

2.

Inspect and replace any hose which shows evidence of wear or leakage.  

3.

Check the routing of the hoses, and clamps to ensure there is no wear and no pinched hoses.  Avoid allowing hoses to contact any heat source.

INSTALLATION

1.

Place new hoses and clamps on the filter ends and torque clamps to 2 Nm (20 lb-in).

2.

Place the filter on the fuel tubes, in the correct direction of flow, and align the filter with the vapor hose.  Connect the vapor hose and torque all
clamps to 2 Nm (20 lb-in).

3.

Start the engine and check for leaks.
