DISCARD THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRING HARNESS, PN 4362284; THE TEMPLATE, PN 4418042; AND THE HOSE
AND SLEEVE ASSEMBLY, PN 4418005; WHICH ARE SUPPLIED WITH THE KIT. THEY WILL NOT BE USED FOR 1988
MODEL YEAR VEHICLES.

Repair Procedure

This procedure involves installation of an electric fuel pump, control module, and fuel reservoir.

A.Engine Overlay Harness, Pn 4362295 & Wiring Assembly, Pn 4362804

Disconnect the battery.

2.

Find the drill dimple on the dash panel located 1-3/8" above the engine compartment side of the bulkhead connector as shown in Figures
1-A and 1-C. Drill a 1" diameter hole from the engine side through to the instrument panel side, making sure there are no obstructions.
Install the wiring assembly, PN 4362804, from the instrument panel side to the engine compartment, and seat grommeet in the newly
drilled hole.
