a.
Shorten the existing return hose, which is still on the engine return tube, to 8-1/2" total length. Attach the return hose to the fuel reservoir
return nipple, and install clamp, PN 6500650, at the reservoir.
b.
Slide both 6" pieces of convolute sleeve, PN 4279993, over each 5/16" x 8" hose, PN 4203576.
c.
Install one of these hose and sleeve assemblies from the fuel pump outlet tube to the reservoir inlet nipple, using clamps, PN 6500651, at
each end as shown in Figure 4-B.
d.
Install the other hose and sleeve assembly from the reservoir outlet nipple to the carburetor fuel tube, using clamps, PN 6500651, at each
end as shown in Figure 4-B.
5.
Tighten all hose clamps to 10 inch pounds.
6.
Type in the Authorized Modification Label, PN 4275086, and attach near VECI label.
7.
Reconnect battery. Start the engine and inspect the entire system for fuel leaks and proper wire and hose routing.
