Install the supplied fuel reservoir/filter, PN 4418012, using the supplied two (2) self-tapping screws, PN 6022777, as shown in Figure 4-
B.
Screws must be tightened to 95 +/- 10 inch pounds.

Disconnect the fuel return hose at the filter and remove and discard the fuel pump outlet tube, the outlet tube-to-filter hose, the fuel filter, the
filter-to-carb supply tube hose, and clamps. Retain the return hose (1/4" diameter) on the engine return tube. Install the fuel pump-to-reservoir
tube; PN 4306976 for 4 x 2, or 4306968 for 4 x 4.
4.
4 x 2 Models Only
a.
Shorten the existing return hose, which is still on the engine return tube, to 8" total length. Attach the return hose to the fuel reservoir return
nipple as shown in Figure 4-B, and install clamp, PN 6500650, at the reservoir.
b.
Locate from the kit both 5/16" x 8" hoses, PN 4203576, and shorten one to 7" and the other to 6".
c.
Locate from the kit both 6" convolute sleeves, PN 4279993, and shorten one to 5" and the other to 4".
d.
Slide the shortened 5" convolute over the shortened 7" hose, and install from the reservoir outlet nipple to the carburetor fuel tube, using
clamps, PN 6500651, at each end as shown in Figure 4-B.
e.
Slide the shortened 4" convolute over the shortened 6" hose, and install from the fuel pump outlet tube to the reservoir inlet nipple, using
clamps, PN 6500651, at each end as shown in Figure 4-B.
