SUBJECT: Hatchgate Sag In Cool Ambient Temperatures
MODELS:
1991 (AD) Ramcharger (RWD, 4WD)
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Ramcharger models built prior to MDH 03-04-XX may have hatchgate supports that will not hold the hatchgate in the full open position during cooler
ambient temperatures.
DIAGNOSIS:
Under normal operating conditions in extremely low ambient temperatures, the hatchgate may sag as much as two inches from the full open position. If
the hatchgate sag exceeds two inches and the supports have PN 4212360 stenciled on the cylinder of the support, they can be replaced with the stronger
