1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove screws from dash panel.
2. Remove steering column cover inserts, then the reinforcement bracket screws from the brace.
3. Remove hood and parking brake release handle brackets.
4. Remove hand throttle bracket, if equipped.
5. Remove I/P screws from each cowl panel.
6. Pull instrument panel outward from dash panel for clearance and disconnect the following:

a. Wire harness connectors.
b. Window defogger tubes.
c. Speedometer cable.
d. Heat/Vent tube.
e. PRNDL cable.
f.

Temperature control cable. 

7. Remove instrument panel. If necessary, remove reinforcement brackets from inside of panel.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following: 

a. Torque reinforcement brackets to 200 inch lbs.
b. Torque reinforcement bracket panel screws to 24 inch lbs.
c. Torque instrument panel cowl screws to 200 inch lbs.
d. Torque steering column cover inserts to 17 inch lbs.
