Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Cover steering column to prevent damage to paint.

3.

Remove face plate, then four lower steering column cover attaching screws.

4.

Pry out upper steering column cover and slide downward.

5.

Disconnect selector lever actuator cable from steering column.

6.

Loosen heater and A/C control. Pull rearward to clear forward mount on cluster housing.

7.

Remove six cluster retaining screws, then pull cluster forward and disconnect speedometer cable.

8.

Disconnect instrument cluster electrical connectors, then remove cluster.

9.

Reverse procedure to install.
