Unable To Remove Tire & Wheel Assembly Using Jack

NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH LT235/R16 TIRES AND WITH A GVW OF 8700 LBS. OR LESS.

MODELS:

1989-92 (AD) Ram Pickup/Ram Cab & Chassis

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Customer may experience difficulty trying to remove or install tire and wheel assembly using the original equipment jack. Under some conditions the
jack won't lift high enough to remove tire. A new jack assembly is available that will lift the vehicle high enough to remove or install a 16" tire and wheel
assembly.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This repair involve replacing the jack assembly with a revised Jack.

Remove the jack assembly, stored under the hood and replace it with the new jack, PN 55075541.

POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
