Fan Clutch: Service and Repair
REMOVE
The thermatic fan housing is threaded onto the fan drive pulley, with left hand threads. Turn the 36mm nut clockwise (as viewed from the front) to
loosen.
INSTALL
Thread the fan housing onto the drive pulley mount. Tighten the housing thoroughly.
Torque Value: 57 N-m [42 ft-lbs]
NOTE: Left had threads turn counterclockwise to tighten (as viewed from the front).
