Connect the female elbow connector of the supplied 2 ohm resistor assembly to the temperature sensor.

Route the resistor assembly under the intake air heater wires -- see Figure 3.

Connect the original female elbow connector of the sensor wire to the straight male connector of the resistor assembly so the resistor assembly is
now in series with the sensor circuit.

Note:

Be sure both connections are tight. If not, pinch or close the female connection slightly.

Secure the resistor assembly to the engine harness with the supplied tie strap (Figure 3) to prevent it from becoming disconnected or damaged. Cut
off excess tie strap length.

8.

Close hood.

Completion Reporting and Reimbursement

Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted by DIAL dealers on the DIAL System. Non DIAL dealers may submit WROs. Claims
submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service completions and provide dealer payments.

Enter only one VIN per claim on a WRO. Fill in the labor operation number and time allowance and write on the WRO "Customer Satisfaction
Notification # 280T -- Trailer Tow Engine Cooling." Do not enter other service claims on the same WRO.
