Accelerator Cable: Adjustments
Throttle Cable And Ball Stud
1.
Disconnect the throttle cable from the ball stud on the throttle cam.
Throttle Cam And Cam Stop
2.
Insert a 0.020 in (0.50 mm) feeler gauge between the throttle cam and the cam stop.
3.
Check that the injection pump throttle lever is contacting the low idle speed stop screw.
Correct Breakover Spring Position
4.
Check that the spring load breakover lever has moved off the stop and is against the breakover spring.
