Fuel Gauge Sending Unit And In-Tank Unit

2. Disconnect electrical connections from sending unit, and remove sending unit.
3. Remove the in-tank filter by prying the mounting tabs away from the reservoir.

 
ASSEMBLY

1. Press new in-tank filter onto reservoir assembly.
2. Connect the electrical wires to the fuel gauge sending unit.
3. Attach sending unit to mounting bracket and tighten the mounting screws.

INSTALLATION

1. Position fuel gauge sending unit module into the opening of the fuel tank.
2. Position the retaining collar over the top of the fuel gauge sending unit module.
3. Tighten the retaining collar.
4. Install fuel tank.
