7. Place the spring over the caliper key, install the assembly between the adaptor and lower caliper machined surfaces. Tap the assembly into position
with brass punch and light hammer).
8. Install the screw and torque to 15 ft. lbs (20.3 Nm).
CAUTION: The boss on the screw must fitfully into the cutout on the key.
9. Reinstall wheel and tire assembly and lower vehicle. Add fluid to master cylinder reservoir to bring fluid level to within 1/4 inch (6.25mm) of the
top of the reservoir.
10. Pump brake pedal several times and recheck master cylinder fluid level; replenish if necessary.
WARNING: Do not move vehicle until a firm pedal has been obtained and master cylinder fluid level is correct.
Removal

1. Raise vehicle on a hoist or jackstands.
2. Remove front wheel covers, and wheel and tire assemblies.
3. Force piston back into caliper bore by pulling outward on the caliper assembly
4. Remove caliper retaining clips and anti-rattle springs.
