REPAIR PROCEDURE

A.

Remove original carburetor and install new carburetor. Remove original EGR valve and install new EGR valve (manual only).

Install altitude compensator on the dash panel behind the engine. The mounting location should be slightly above and to the right of the carburetor
(Figure 4).

C.

Install vacuum harness and hook-up as shown in Figure 4.

D.

Check idle specifications and reset if necessary.

E.

Type "This vehicle has been modified with Altitude Emissions Package PN 4411981 or PN 4411982" on the VECI Update Label.

F.

Affix VECI Update Label, PN 4275084, near original VECI label.
