Remove the 4-second vacuum delay valve, PN 4167046 or 4173433, from the EGR valve. Disconnect the delay valve from the upper vacuum hose
and remove valve and rubber connector from the EGR valve side connector. Reconnect the free end of the 3/16" vacuum line left remaining on the
EGR valve to the vacuum nipple on the side of the EGR valve (Figure 5-D and 5-E).

^ With a piece of tape, mark the shank end of a 3/16" drill bit a distance of 1-1/4" from the end. Remove carburetor fuel inlet hose, insert fuel
inlet orifice, PN 4418021, with the drill bit to a depth of 1-1/4". Reinstall fuel inlet hose (Figure 7).
